Some Helpful Hints in preparing to attend the Montréal Convention

Due to the joint nature of the AIO/ISO Montreal Convention, the large number of attendees expected, and the compromises required to coordinate the practices of two unique organizations, the joint AIO/ISO Montreal Convention Committee asks your indulgence in a deviation from normal AIO Convention registration procedure.

In order to save you time and money, we request that you  not make any travel arrangements or attempt to register at the hotel until you have reviewed the following information:

  • Space will be limited to 180 people per organization (AIO & ISO).
  • Full Registration for the main part of the AIO convention is required.  There will be no one-day or partial registrations.
  • Registration for AIO Members Only will begin after April 5, 2010.
  • If there is space remaining, registration for non-members will begin on May 17th.
  • All registration will conclude on June 30th.
  • There will be no walk-up registration at the convention.
  • Registration will be accepted via the Registration Form only.
  • Registration will include your hotel room, 10 meals, and convention activities.
  • During the main part of the convention, there will be a variety of joint and cross-over activities between the two groups.
  • Pre and Post Convention activities will also be offered on the registration form, and will be in addition to the main part of the convention.
  • The hotel will not accept room reservations except through the AIO Executive Secretary.
  • A vaild passport is required to enter Canada and return to the United States.  Please click this link if you need to apply for a passport:  http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html.
